Challenge
Elevate online experience and translate the customer trust built from their brick-and-mortar locations to their digital experience. Overcome the Argentine distrust of online shopping.
Role
I lead UI Design, along with a UX Designer and a Product Lead. I was responsible for developing UI components, style guides and manage junior UI designer. Also assisted user research, brand audit, persona creation, interviews, and workshops.
Solution
Our bilingual digital experience team performed a full week of design thinking with the Ribeiro core commerce team, including branding, tone and voice, feature ideation and prioritization, as well as several interviews and design workshops.
We conducted user research and site visits to their retail locations, created new information architecture, crafted pages, designed interactions, and a new model for processing payments within the convoluted Argentinian financial payments system.
